In December 2021, OZON Marketplace Kazakhstan LLP became a member of the Digital Kazakhstan Association.

OZON Marketplace Kazakhstan LLP is the local Kazakhstani division of one of Russia's largest marketplaces, Ozon.

Ozon was founded in 1998 and is currently one of the three largest online trading platforms in Russia. The marketplace offers more than 11 million product items in over 20 categories. At the end of November, Ozon held an IPO simultaneously on Nasdaq and the Moscow Exchange. As a result of the IPO and private placement, the company raised $1.2 billion.

The entry of foreign e-commerce platforms into the Kazakh market gives consumers access to a huge range of goods, allows Kazakh sellers to offer their goods in Russia and Belarus, and maintains and develops competition in the e-commerce and trade market.
