On 30 April 2019, the Eurasian Economic Commission approved the Report on the Development of Digital (Internet) Trade in the EAEU.
The report aims to:

  • develop digital cross-border services
  • ensure balance in the regulation of the market for digital services and related goods
  • forming the Union's digital assets, digitising goods and services
  • developing digital trade channels between member states and services that enable digital trade within the Union
  • stimulating the export of goods and services from member states to third countries
  • developing digital trade infrastructure within the Union
  • stimulating the use of technologies developed within the Union
During the preparation of the report, the Commission organised an expert platform on digital trade. Denis Stepanets, Managing Director of the ACC, and Elena Bychkova, Advisor to the Chairman, took part in the work of the platform and the preparation of the report. Read the report
