The DKA and the Russia-OECD Centre at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration have signed a cooperation agreement.

On 21 November 2019, the Russia-OECD Centre of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration signed a cooperation agreement with the Digital Kazakhstan Association.

The aim of the cooperation is to develop the following areas:

1. Expert and scientific and methodological support
2. Improvement of legislation in the field of e-commerce regulation, consumer protection, self-regulation standards (in particular, taking into account OECD standards)
3. International law, etc.

Under the agreement, cooperation will be carried out in the following areas:

• preparation of joint proposals for improving the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
• holding joint seminars, meetings, conferences, round tables and other similar events;
• organising consultations and explanations on issues of currency and tax regulation, foreign economic activity management, corporate law, responsible business conduct;
• exchange of analytical materials.
