The IX Eurasian Antimonopoly Forum was held in Almaty
Elena Bychkova, Managing Director (Antimonopoly Unit) of the DKA, was the main coordinator of the IX Eurasian Antimonopoly Forum, held on 20-21 April in Almaty. Elena was delegated to coordinate the organisation and conduct of the Forum by the Council of the Eurasian Alliance of Antimonopoly Experts, an international public association whose members are leading experts, economists and lawyers specialising in competition and antimonopoly regulation.

The Forum was attended by Marat Talgatovich Omarov, Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Protection and Development of Competition, Bakhyt Turlykhanovich Sultanov, Member of the Board (Minister) for Competition and Antimonopoly Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission, directors of EEC departments, judges of the EAEU Court, Chief Economist for Central Asia at the World Bank, representatives of major Kazakh and foreign companies, and leading experts.

The forum is the main platform for EAEU and Central Asian countries to build communication between antitrust regulators and businesses. For the third year, the DKA is the official partner of the Eurasian Antitrust Forum.
