Denis Stepanets and Elena Bychkova took part in the Conference ‘Development of E-commerce Regulation in the EAEU’

Denis Stepanets, Managing Director of the ACC, and Elena Bychkova, Advisor to the Chairman of the ACC, took part in the Conference on the Development of E-Commerce Regulation in the EAEU, which was held on 7 April at the EEC.

The event was attended by representatives of executive authorities and business circles of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union.

The conference covered the following topics:

- features of the development of e-commerce regulation in the Eurasian space,
- specifics of the formation of a single e-commerce market in the EAEU,
- protection of the rights and interests of e-commerce participants.

Denis Stepanets spoke at the session, sharing his progressive experience in protecting consumer rights in e-commerce in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The results of the discussion will be used in the implementation of the Roadmap for creating favourable conditions for the development of e-commerce in the EAEU, including in the development of a draft international agreement on e-commerce within the Eurasian Economic Union.
