Mikaelyan Narine, Executive Director of the ACC, took part in a meeting of the Public Council of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On 3 June 2021, the Public Council of the Ministry of Justice heard a report from the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Marat Bakhytzhanovich Beketayev.
The Minister of Justice provided detailed information on the results of the Ministry's activities for 2020 and outlined the tasks of the state body for 2021.
It was noted that the laws developed and adopted during the reporting period are aimed at protecting the rights of citizens and developing certain state institutions, including strengthening the rights of citizens in criminal proceedings and combating corruption.
The Minister's report paid particular attention to legislative measures to improve socially important areas of legal relations and the importance of the Ministry's work on digitalisation and automation.
